the photographer

Hey there, Im Sabina. It is a pleasure to be connecting with you.

Time and time again I am matched with clients (often turned friends) that inspire me in such a way I feel my work is elevated to new heights. I am constantly reminded of the nuance and beauty of our human experience by your kind invitation to photograph your wedding days and celebrations. I really try to make a point of being perceptive and imaginative so I can let your spirit shine. It’s hard for me to approach this work by a template therefore you won’t really see that from me. My humble wish is to capture history for you and facilitate your presence in your celebration with unbridled joy. I am brought to tears with the words you use to show your love for one another, warmed by the arrival of loved ones with big embraces for you, giggling over the little ones I meet dressed in their fancy mini outfits and grateful at the end of every event for the opportunities to capture, tell and witness the stories of your lives. It’s a tender thing, this work.

With deep roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and San Diego, California, I travel far and wide for photography commissions; a personal dream come true. I am an ally which in my opinion should be a no-brainer. I have fallen in love with telling the stories of the people I meet and their experiences and therefore will never turn down a conversation. Manifesto

To be a witness, your witness.

I am a historian, using photography to create the pages of your book.

I will engage with others with compassion and admiration.

My subjects will know their beauty.

I see my work as a partnership - joy, family, vendors, nature, scenery, photography.

An approach of love - love of people, love of craft, love of celebration.
